What we have learned about thermal energy is that it has atoms and also added or remove but the temp remians constant.And also it the study of the energy moving in and out of systems.
Thermal energy comes from heat. Thermal energy is the energy of moving/vibrating molecules. It is also the energy of the random motion of particles in matter. When a state of matter (solid, liquid, gas) has a state change thermal energy is either taken out of or applied to the state of matter.
What I learned about thermal energy is that the motion of thermal energy is normally not visible. I also learned that it can be seen in three forms, vibrational, rotational, and translational. Thermal energy relates to the states of matter because when a part of matter goes through a state change, thermal energy is either added or removed from it. For example, when a solid is melted thermal energy is what makes the bonds to break apart.
